For the last couple of days I’ve been watching the two videos below, which provide tips on how to make your journalism better.
They’ve been produced by the Poynter Institute, a non profit school for journalism. The videos are part of the institute’s NewsU project which offers news room training to journalism students.
The videos feature 15 presenters who give various ideas, lessons and advice on a range of journalism and publishing topics.
Both videos are an hour long but you don’t necessarily have to watch every minute.
Although it’s obviously geared towards journalism, I think if you’re involved in publishing whether it’s in print or digital I think there’s still a lot of useful tips you can pick up relating to writing, reporting, using digital tools and social media
